The dive safari lasts 12 nights and 13 days full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There are 22 dives to be made. Included: All transport in a van with AC, English speaking guide, English speaking divemaster and instructor, 12 nights based on double occupancy per room,12 liter alu tanks, weight + belt.
SANUR
A lovely place for a break after your flight.1 night in hotel Palm Garden.
Day 1: Arrival in Bali, transport of 30 min. to your hotel, relax at the poolside (depending on your time of arrival), dinner.
PEMUTERAN
2 nights in Reef View Cottages close to the beach with snorkelling possibilities at the artificial reef.
Day 2: Trip over Bali to Pemuteran, via Bedugul and Lake Bratan. Coffee stop at Saranam Eco Resort with beautiful views. Stop at the spice- and flowermarket of Bedugul. After the monkeys at Lake Bratan, lunch at Ngiring Ngewedang coffee shop in between the hydrangea nurseries and clove plantations. Dinner in Pemuteran.
First night in Reef Seen Cottages.
Day 3: 3 spectacular dives in Gilimanuk and/or Menjangan

AMED
A fishermen’s village of contrasts, motorcycles and mobile phones versus the traditional process of salt making and cooking on wood fires.
5 nights in hotel Santai.
Day 5: 2 dives in Kubu, Monkey Reef/Graveyard. A slope covered with hard coral with huge barrel sponges.

Free afternoon or a “Kampung excursion”
Dinner: “Rijsttafel” and Balinese dance

Day 6: 3 dives: 2 dives in Tulamben on the wreck of the “Liberty” and a night dive.

Day 11: 3 dives in the Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida area

SANUR

Day 13: Free day/shopping/Transport to the Airport.
Not included: Personal diving equipment, airline tickets, tourist visa (25 US $),
Exit Tax (Rp. 150.000) + drinks, personal expenses, lunch on the first and last day, cancellation and travel insurance.
Payment conditions.
After you have received our acceptance and confirmation, the agreement comes into force.
You pay directly 10% of the total safari-sum as a first down payment which is at the same time your reservation. 2 months before the start of the safari you pay 40 % and 1 month before you pay the last 50%.
The total amount of the dive safari must be paid before the start.
Conditions for participation:
*You are at least Advanced Open water Diver (2*) or similar and you have at least 30 logged dives to your name.
*You are declared medically healthy for diving.
*If you don’t have your own diving equipment, you can rent a full set at 10 € per day. If you have your own equipment we ask you to bring a DIN adapter (if necessary).
*You arrange your own valid travel documents, visa and any travel and cancellation insurance.
*During diving you are obliged to follow the instructions of the guides.
*Bali Dive Safaris points out that all dives are at own risk.
*Changes in the program may occur; if there would arise any unforeseen circumstances regarding transport, hotels, diving etc. BDS is fully committed to change and correct the situation without any refunds being applicable.
*Group size: A minimum of 4 persons with a maximum of 12 persons. Please contact us for the possibilities of dive safaris for 2 persons and different programs than offered.
*If you skip any dives or you leave the safari before completion for whatever reason, no refunds will be given.
*About Airport pick-up, please ensure that we have your complete flight details in time before arrival (a minimum of 2 days in advance).
Recommended diving equipment:
* 3-5 mm shorty’s or long suits, adjustable fins + booties.
Other information:
*Per diving day an “Eco-Tax” contribution of rp. 13.000 is requested and is already included in the price.
This amount is being used to conserve the reefs and corals.
* Dollars and Euros are easily exchanged, provided the banknotes are in impeccable condition. For dollars the following applies: All banknotes before 1996 are refused with moneychangers and banks. Banks give an unfavourable exchange rate. Travellers Cheques are usually also accepted.
ATM’s can be found throughout Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Ubud, Lovina and Seririt. In Pemuteran, Tulamben and Amed they are not present.
All major credit cards are widely accepted, except AMEX. Please note 3% bank charges are calculated at various places.
*Electricity: 220V Cameras and batteries can be charged with standard Euro plugs.
*Mobile phone network is widely spread throughout the entire island, though there are some places where there is no or poor reception.
*Health: It is advisable to consult your physician and/or the health authorities about any vaccinations and precautions. For your stay on Bali no anti-malaria measures are recommended. This does not apply for some of the other islands.
Bali has some very good international medical centres.
*Climate: Bali is located in the Tropics, meaning the temperature varies around 30 degrees Celsius. Between November and March, the wet period, the humidity is high and a big downpour can be seen as a temporary “salvation”. Between April and October the heat feels more dry. This period is generally regarded as a more pleasant experience.
